This year began with friction between countries and between people, from Brexit, to tensions between superpowers. Everything felt fractured and we all seemed to be moving apart. Now, under the shadow of Corona virus we can ask - do we need a war to be together, to find solidarity and unity? We seem to be finding ways to stand together as people of the world to overcome what challenges us all.
The project explores the song bella ciao, which used to stand for fighting together against a regime, and now represents a willingness to be united through hard times. Typography is used to convey that we don’t exist on our own, and that we can achieve our very best when we are united.
