What are the temptations of a designer? This exhibition addresses how we often find ourselves struggling to balance the two fundamentals of our practice - form and function. We are either tempted by aesthetics – colours, typefaces, visuals or by the simplicity of having that one strong concept.This drives forward our entire project, that we can’t find a way to negotiate the two and we fall into the temptation of overworking things on one side. Rather than calling out imperfections, this exhibition aims to showcase the underlying ties between form and function and how they manifest across our work as a collective.
